Activity of Amoxicillin was low as it was antibiotic. However, if connecting Amoxicilin and the Penicillin group medicines (Amoxicilin was also the Penicillin medicine), beta-lactamase protected antibiotic and Amoxicilin from destruction.

In case of penicillin allergy of patient, he/she should not take Amoxil as Amoxil and Amoxicillin were antibiotics of the same class and their structures were similar.
