    1. What Propecia is and what it is used for

      Propecia contains the active substance finasteride.

      Propecia should only be used in men.

      Propecia is used to treat male pattern baldness (also known as androgenetic alopecia) in men between 18 and 41 years of age. If you have any questions about human hair loss after reading this leaflet, contact your doctor.
